RE-ELECT DEMOCRAT
JENNIFER
HENDRICKSON
for Borough Council
Jennifer has resided in the Hatboro-Horsham School District for 15 years and in the borough of Hatboro for the past two years, along with her husband, Adam, their three sons —Adam Jr., Jack, and Amber —and their two dogs. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Albright College and was in private practice as a Certified Labor Doula for twelve years. For the past three years she has been employed by the Hatboro-Horsham School District.
Jennifer has spent many years volunteering for various community youth organizations, including Hatboro Cub Scout Pack 17, Hatboro Boy Scout Troop 3, Hatboro-Horsham Wrestling Club, both the Horsham and Hatboro Little Leagues, and the Home and School Associations of Hallowell Elementary and Keith Valley Middle School. Her passion for serving the youth of our community is what led her to join the borough council.
On the Hatboro Borough Council, Jennifer serves as chair of the Environmental Affairs and Parks Committee and co-chair of the Community Development Committee. She is also the Chair of the newly designated Bird Town Committee and works closely with the Environmental Advisory Council. She volunteers with the Pennypack Events Committee, bringing engaging events to the borough community, such as Borough Bingo, Party in the Park, and the Borough Easter Egg Hunt.
Jennifer's goals for the borough are to foster a sense of a close-knit community by attracting quality businesses, improving walkability, and adding more exciting programming for adults and children, especially the teenage population. She is also working to preserve our community’s rich history and natural beauty by restoring our historical properties while managing our wildlife habitats, improving flood mitigation with the use of riparian buffers, and managing stormwater runoff and streambank erosion.
