ELECT DEMOCRAT
ERIN MCCUEN
for Borough Council
Erin’s connection to Hatboro runs deep, with a rich family history that stretches back to 1946 when her great-grandparents purchased the house she lives in now. Growing up in this community, Erin has developed a deep appreciation for the borough's unique heritage, values, and aspirations. The sense of belonging and pride that defines Hatboro has shaped who she is today, and she carries that legacy with her in every decision she makes. She has been married to her husband, James, for 14 years and together they have a daughter, Madison, who graduated from Hatboro-Horsham in 2023. Madison attends Delaware Valley University and is in her 2nd year studying Zoo Science.
With a career spanning various roles including project management, vendor relations, team leadership, and customer success, Erin has always honed a big-picture perspective, without ever losing her ability to evaluate diverse viewpoints before making informed decisions. These experiences have equipped her to take a thoughtful, balanced approach to leadership—one that is practical, collaborative, and forward-thinking.
In addition to Erin’s professional background, she has dedicated herself to community service. She is proud to be the Co-Founder/Development Director of HAT Packs and serves on the executive board of the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce as VP, Non-profit Liasion. In 2024, Erin joined the Boro Planning Commission as Vice-Chair and is currently working on the Zoning Ordinance Rewrite Project. These roles have given Erin invaluable insight into the challenges and opportunities facing our borough, and have strengthened her resolve to create inclusive, equitable solutions that benefit all residents.
As a candidate for Borough Council, Erin is committed to ensuring that Hatboro thrives for generations to come. Her goal is to bring a fresh, proactive approach to address the evolving needs of our community while honoring the traditions that make Hatboro such a special place to live. Erin would be honored to serve you, to help shape our future, and to ensure that our borough remains a place where everyone feels welcome and proud to call home.
