April Mount is your current Tax Collector for Hatboro since 2019.  April brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role of Tax Collector. She is a Certified Pennsylvania Qualified Tax Collector which is issued by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), a member of the Pennsylvania State Tax Collector’s Association and also a member of the Montgomery County Tax Collector’s Association.  April’s duties include collecting all County, Borough, and School taxes for Hatboro, along with Refuse Fees.  

 

April has been working in the Mortgage Service industry for the past 25 years. She has worked with various banking institutions such as GMAC, CoreLogic, Lereta, and Radian Group and is knowledgeable about the mortgage and lending process from start to finish.  April is also a small business owner based out of Horsham, PA.  

 

April grew up in Abington, PA, and has been a resident of Hatboro for 20 years. For the past 25 years, she has been serving her community by volunteering for the Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro.  She has held numerous positions within the Company, but her longest-held position was Treasurer, which she stepped down from when she was voted in as their President in 2018.  April has also held the position of President of the fire company’s Auxiliary which mainly focuses on raising additional funds for the company while working with other non-profits in Hatboro.
